Services We Provide

We are a full-service pet hospital that provides both emergency treatment and routine medical care. Our waiting room is comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm, enabling your pet to relax before its exam.

• Pet Wellness Exams

Routine exams are important to the overall wellness of your pet. Most dogs and cats should have annual exams. Pets who suffer from chronic illness may need more frequent exams. We will examine your pet from nose to tail, checking your pet’s coat, nails, skin, ears, and mouth. We will also listen to your pet’s heart, lungs, and abdomen. We will perform additional tests if required. We administer vaccinations and recommend lifestyle changes to ensure your four-legged friend lives a full and happy life.

• Spay and Neuter Surgery

These procedures help your companions live longer, healthier lives while also preventing pregnancy. In female animals, the possibility of uterine infections and breast cancer drops significantly after spaying. In male animals, the risk of testicular cancer and prostate issues is eliminated or significantly reduced. Spaying and neutering also make a pet easier to train and less aggressive.

• Dental Wellness Exams

A pet who has never had their teeth cleaned by the time they are three years old probably has likely developed a dental disease. Townsgate Pet Hospital recommends all pets have a yearly oral exam and dental cleaning.

• Microchipping

A microchip is a tiny device the size of a grain of rice that is injected into your pet just below the skin. It stores information about whom to contact if the pet becomes lost.

Our Westlake Village veterinarian also provides:

• Animal surgery
• Senior pet care
• Pet emergency care
• Vaccinations
• Pain management
• Parasite prevention
• Nutrition counseling
• Tests such as radiology, bloodwork, or ultrasound
